We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help out stewarding our upcoming events
Event Stewards

Volunteer as an event steward with Trinity

We're looking for people to help out in a range of steward roles including:

  • Theatre performances

  • Community events including our annual Garden Party and Fireworks Party

Working alongside our professional in-house staff, you will help to keep people safe and provide information to Trinity Centre visitors.

You will be friendly, attentive and have an eye for detail so that you can be alert to any health and safety issues. You will have a positive outlook and be a great communicator as well as being flexible and reliable.

We are able to provide training for regular volunteer and welcome applications from all backgrounds.

Upcoming events:

18 March, Slap Tickle - Liz Aggiss

25 March, Ceci n'est pas Noire (This is not Black) - Alesandra Seutin I Vocab Dance Company

21 April, Putting The Band Back Together - Unfolding Theatre

28 April, I-Dentity – Rider Shafique

For each of these performance events we are looking for x 2 stewards to assist us, between 6pm - 9.30pm.

 

5th, 6th & 7th May, Daughters of the Curry Revolution - Afreena Islam

For each of these performances we are looking for one steward to assist us, between 2pm - 9pm.

Key tasks include:

  • to welcome our audiences in to the auditorium/performance space
  • to assist an evacuation in the event of an emergency
  • to help us communicate information to our audiences

Rewards for regular stewards include guest list access to events of your choice at Trinity and a free t-shirt!

We can also confirm dates for our Garden and Fireworks Parties. This year, our Garden Party will take place Sunday 14th May and Fireworks will take place Sunday 5th November.

These events rely on volunteers, taking on a variety of stewarding roles to help us deliver safe happy events. This includes:

  • assisting with event set-up and pack-down

  • checking of grounds, reporting of issues

  • meeting and greeting public, sign-posting

  • bucket-shaking, community surveys, handing out flyers
