We're looking for people to help us with the repairs, maintenance and general upkeep of the amazing building that is the Trinity Centre. It's big and beautiful and it needs you!
Role and Responsibilities

Supporting Facilities Manager with operations duties for the Centre

Helping carry out and updating risk assessments for activities
-
Monitoring the building and grounds for hazards and buildings observation reports
-
Helping to set up for activities
-
Supporting facilities team with general repairs and maintenance
-
Painting and decorating, basic carpentry
-
Ongoing support and help with cleaning and general tidying
-
Tidying of the garden and grounds including litter picking, lawn mowing, weeding, watering and assisting Eastside Roots with basic upkeep of the garden
Essential
-
Maintenance or cleaning skills
-
Basic gardening skills
-
Ability to work using own initiative

Painting and decorating skills

Confidence to develop good working relationships with a diverse range of contacts

Organised and can follow instructions

Strong time-management skills

Ability to meet deadlines and to work under pressure
Desirable
-
Any painting, decorating, or maintenance qualifications
-
Experience working in old or historic buildings
-
Experience of working in a community arts or music organisation or the voluntary sector

Experience of working within a multicultural community and understanding of key issues i.e. working with refugee communities
