The Trinity Centre and gardens are covered by the Health and Safety at Work Act 1973, and later revisions. The Centre is also covered by guidelines related to public events

Health & Safety

In the widest sense ‘health’ means our well-being, on every level. ‘Health and Safety’ covers much more than fire regulations and first aid – although these are important.

It’s about how we take care of ourselves, and each other. It’s about how we work best, and what to do if things go wrong. So ‘Health and Safety’ is the responsibility of everyone who works at Trinity.

TCA is undergoing a health & safety review and regularly monitors and updates this policy to ensure we meet current regulatory standards.

Smoking

In accordance with the Health Act 2006 - which prohibits smoking (smoking or being in the possession of lit tobacco, anything containing tobacco or any other substance) in all public premises - the whole of the Trinity Centre is now a smokefree area.
