Truly wonderful band of West Country musicians back in Bristol for the first time since July 2007
Rightly famous for being the first band to play the first song at the first Glastonbury Festival on Sept 19th 1970, they have reformed with four of the original founding members Andy Davis, James Warren, Mutter Slater, and Crun Walter.
They made hugely successful appearances this year at the Glastonbury, and Cropredy festivals. Expect old favourites such as Purple Spaceships Over Yatton, as well as material from their upcoming new album being produced by Chris Hughes (Tears For Fears, Robert Plant, Paul McCartney etc).
Andy Davis & James Warren went on to form the Korgis, and you will possibly hear one or two of their tunes as well, including their world wide hit Everybody's Got To Learn Sometime (covered brilliantly by Beck, and more recently by Glasvegas). Support on the night will come from The Toy Hearts, a thrilling traditional and contemporary bluegrass band from Birmingham UK.
Doors 7.30pm.
