Arts West Side
Renovation and development of 6 West Street to create a new community arts hub
In 2011, Trinity received a grant from Bristol City Council to develop and repair number 6 West Street, Old Market.
The suggestion for Trinity to coordinate the running of 6 West Street was originally put forward by the Old Market Community Association, who were looking for ways of providing a base for local groups and businesses. Trinity was keen to coordinate a project that would involve smaller groups that may lack the capacity as individual groups to take on a premises of this size.
We are now able to offer a space for small scale community and arts activities and are already developing a volunteer-led cafe project from the space. For more info visit the Arts West Side project area of our website.
