Over 30 participants contributed across the programme – this included volunteers who are unemployed and were looking to gain skills and meet new people.

Free creative workshops for International Women's Day

Two whole days of workshops celebrating International Women's Day, 8 March 2010.

Activities included learning how to make paper, badges and finger puppets. Participants took part in a live collage contributing paintings and sketches and posting comments.

Other activities included games, a cookie exchange and recording studio workshops.

2009 series of workshops bringing young and older people together through making artwork

Through funding from the Quartet Community Foundation Fund for Older People, Trinity was able to extend the project, reuniting some of the original participants and welcoming new participants. Both phases have been developed and delivered at the Trinity Centre by Community Artist Victoria Appleton.

A group of older and young people from the community were brought together to create a sculpture for the Trinity Centre gardens in March 2008

The project brought together young people with English as a Second Language from the DICE Project at the City Academy Bristol, supported by Young Bristol, with Elders mainly from Caribbean communities, to share experiences and life stories in six exchange sessions over six weeks. The focus was on facilitating positive interaction of age groups and cultures.
