FREE courses for young people 16-18* years old who are not in education, employment or training
Training Programme 2011/12
Now recruiting on all courses:
- Creative learning with professional artists
- 6 week courses
- Rolling start dates throughout year
- Student expenses paid
- Certificates awarded in Creative Media Production, Maths and ICT
We aim to assist young people to find the right route into further education, voluntary work, or employment whilst developing practical creative skills, building confidence and allowing access to new experiences. Offered in association with City of Bristol College, under the EUL programme.
*Students must have turned 16 before August 31st 2011. Students who turned 19 after 31st August 2011 are eligible to join
Music
During this course students will develop their overall basic knowledge and understanding of all aspects of music production
Led by music tutor Alex Howard, students will gain a strong understanding of music production and a chance to produce and perform original works
Photography & Street Art
Practical visual arts course, exploring real urban and street art, and teaching you the basics areas such as photography, graffiti and design
Develop visual skills combining graffiti art and photography and a range of sessions to get you thinking about your surroundings, experimenting and developing graphic skills.
Anger Management
During this course students will develop skills which can be used in all aspects of life
Led by Paul Serry, students will develop practical, positive skills and attitudes that will help them in all aspects of their life
Step Up
Creative learning routes for young people
Our new course, Step Up, is designed to help you find your next steps, develop CV's, search for jobs, volunteering opportunities and courses. Led by Nadine Bourne and Alex Howard

All students receive £5 per session towards expenses and £50 reward for successful completion of whole course*
*Expenses paid fortnightly into student's bank account - final reward paid on completion of all aspects of the course
