Led by Paul Serry, students will develop practical, positive skills and attitudes that will help them in all aspects of their life

Details of Anger Management course focussed on building life skills

Anger Management Coaching helps you understand and change:

  • Anger is a learned defence/control reaction

  • Underneath Anger are often deep feelings and beliefs

  • Ways to express anger in a positive and healthy way

  • How the “trick” is to stay relatively calm and focussed not “calm down‟ after

  • Practical approaches to the issues of Anger and its management

  • How to 'listen' or “understand” before making judgements and learning to trust your inner

    sense of 'when to act'

  • To experience your own and other people's anger and remain positive

  • That once you can change your reactions your relationships will change as well

All students receive £5 per session towards expenses and £50 reward for successful completion of whole course*

*Expenses paid fortnightly into student's bank account - final reward paid on completion of all aspects of the course

Training Programme 2012/13

  • Creative learning with professional artists
  • 6 week introduction
  • 12 week course
  • Rolling start dates throughout year
  • Student expenses paid
  • Certificates awarded in Creative Media Production, Maths Functional Skills

We aim to assist young people to find the right route into further education, voluntary work, or employment whilst developing practical creative skills, building confidence and allowing access to new experiences. Offered in association with City of Bristol College, under the EUL programme.

*Students must have turned 16 before August 31st 2012. Students who turned 19 after 31st August 2012 are eligible to join
