Woodcarving with Daniel Bendel (Block 1)

Craft skills workshops delivered as part of the Heart & Soul project

Join local artist Daniel Bendel as he teaches you the skills needed to create a traditional wood carving. Wood carving once featured heavily in the building - in Daniel’s workshop you will be part of creating a Trinity inspired comic strip style panel to create fixed pieces to be displayed in the centre.

Daniel will teach you the basics of carving, relief carving and letter-cutting and you will be able to take your practice ideas home.

Block 1 Workshops take place on Saturdays, 10am - 4pm on the following dates:

10th Feb

17th Feb

Please note these are NOT drop-in or taster sessions. To learn the basics of each of the crafts on offer you will need to complete all of the sessions.

All workshops (clay, textiles, stained glass, woodcarving) will be delivered on the same days and times, so please select and commit to your preference in advance.

Reserve your place by following the ticket link or phoning 0117 935 1200.

Block 2 Workshops will be delivered on Tuesdays, 11am-1pm from 10th April to 8th May. Contact us for more info or to register your interest
