Woodcarving workshops with Daniel Bendel (Block 2)

Craft skills workshops delivered as part of the Heart & Soul: Trinity in the Community project

Join local sculpture Daniel Bendel as he teaches you the skills needed to create a traditional wood carving. Wood carving once featured heavily in the building - in Daniel’s workshop you will be part of creating a Trinity inspired comic strip style panel to create fixed pieces to be displayed in the centre.

Daniel will teach you the basics of carving, relief carving and letter-cutting and you will be able to take your practice ideas home.

The workshops take place over five sessions: 10th April, 17th April, 24th April, 1st May and 8th May. 11- 1pm

Due to high demand of places on the course there is £10 refundable deposit which will be reimbursed at the end of the sessions. If you cancel or do not attend the workshops without giving us 48 notice we will retain your deposit.
